فلاش أو Animate يمكنه التلاعب بالنواقل والغرافيكس، وتدعم البث ثنائي الاتجاه للنظم السمعية والبصرية. وهو يحتوي على لغة برمجة تدعى أكشن سكريبت.

العديد من منتجات البرمجيات والنظم والأجهزة قادرة على إنشاء أو عرض محتوى فلاش، بما في ذلك أدوبي فلاش بلاير، وهو متاح مجانا لأكثر متصفحى الويب شيوعا وبعض الهواتف النقالة وغيرها من الأجهزة الإلكترونية (باستخدام فلاش لايت).
